Nutrition and Health Properties of DESAMEX CHIADESAMEX CHIA is a super healthy, nutritious food that is excellent in every way:
In addition, DESAMEX CHIA has been said to have these additional properties and benefits:
OMEGA 3 and OMEGA 6 ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS HEALTH BENEFITSThese 2 fatty acids are essential, because the body cannot produce them themselves, and therefore is dependent on the daily intake of food. They are the basis for certain substances (Eicosanoid Group), which regulate various bodily processes, such as blood lipid concentrations, blood clotting and blood pressure. Various sources of OMEGA-3 and OMEGA-6 fatty acids can be found in many vegetable oils, such as sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, soya oil or linseed/flax oil. However, most people eat too high of a ratio of OMEGA 6 to OMEGA 3. The oil in the CHIA seed has a ratio of fatty acids of OMEGA-3 to OMEGA-6 of 3:1. This means a by far less intake of OMEGA-6 fatty acids and the highest possible intake of OMEGA-3. Our nutrition often has too little OMEGA-3 fatty acids and an excessive amount of OMEGA-6. The oil in CHIA SEEDS is exceptional! With more than 60% of valuable OMEGA-3 linolenic acids, it is one of the highest in the plant world. OMEGA-3 fatty acids stimulate the neurological chemical communication in the brain cells and play a positive role in the neurological cellular fluidity. Scientific research about the effect of too low levels in the body of OMEGA-3 fatty acids on the cell membranes of the brain are seen by experts as responsible for psychosomatic disorders. It has been proven that the mind can improve intellectual performance and relationship behavior through the intake of OMEGA-3 with the right balance of OMEGA-6. Here are some examples for the different uses of CHIA:Due to its good and natural taste there are many uses in delicious recipes. CHIA can be used in the kitchen cooked as well uncooked, for example CHIA is a delicious whole seed ingredient for salads or as milled into salad dressings. CHIA SEED, whole or milled, is an excellent ingredient for other individual recipes. Experiment. Polenta with CHIAThe Aztecs often prepared meals like polenta together with CHIA. Depending on whether the polenta should be a sweet or a spicy meal, the Aztecs flavored their polenta with honey or with chili pepper. Fruit-yogurt with CHIAFirst cut 4 oz. fruit of your choice.
