Dennis Singsank

ORGANIC SOURCE LLC was founded in 2008 by long time organic food industry veterans, David and Dennis Singsank. The Singsanks have been in the natural and organic food business in one form or another since 1974 when their first venture was an organic vegetable growing venture near Iowa City, Iowa. That business led to the opening of their retail store Whole Earth Natural Foods in 1975, which was sold in 1982 at which time they wrote and published two books — Personal Lifeplan for Health and Fitness and Guidelines for Your Total Health — for the natural foods store consumer market.

The Singsanks then founded the organic food and ingredients company, American Health and Nutrition, in 1983. AH&N, as the company was known by, went on to become a worldwide leader in organic foods, with over $20 million in sales. AH&N marketed over one hundred various food ingredients worldwide, working with thousands of farmers in the US and a dozen other countries. American Health and Nutrition was sold in 2008 to NewOrganics.

ORGANIC SOURCE today specializes in certified organic CHIA, in particular DESAMEX ORGANIC CHIA from a grower cooperative in Jalisco, Mexico, as well as ORGANIC SOYMEAL for the organic animal feed industry, sourcing it from Khyati Organic Foods of India. In addition, we offer a number of other organic grain, seed and bean products which you will see in the products section.
